Mojave Valley Job Tier List
Cafe ticks first, Drive-to-Earn while you commute, police RP last for money.
This is the work half of the tier list hub. It ranks cash per attention, not RP flavor. For how to clock in, stay on the jobs guide. For speed-limit math, stay on money.
Always keep a job selected in Shop → Jobs. That sentence is the entire difference between S and F.
S-tier
Cafe Job at Peet’s Coffee & Tea (Sonora Vista). Official New Town update headline. Interactive serve loop. Sits next to shops so you can RP without losing the timer. Pin it on the map.
Ray’s Cafe and Tylo’s. Community HUD tests put both near $750 per roughly five minutes. If they still appear in your Jobs tab, they are S. Take one, park close, highway between ticks.
Codes on patch day. Not a job, but S-tier money. See codes. A player who clocks in without redeeming is leaving free cash on the table.
A-tier
Drive-to-Earn at limit +5–10 mph. Pays while you commute. A-tier because you should already be moving to a cafe. It becomes S when stacked with a selected job. Highway in a Tucson from the car list is the picture.
Other Jobs-tab food / cafe entries. A-tier fillers when Peet’s is crowded in a 25-player server. Same idea, maybe worse timer. Still better than unemployed.
Daily objectives. A-tier burst after the July 28 patch. Mileage and cafe-order quests sit on daily objectives.
Roblox Plus+ job and drive +10%. A multiplier, not a role. If you have it, every S and A line above is simply larger.
B-tier
Noir Beauty Salon & Spa. New Town RP workplace. Great for civilian scenes, slower than coffee ticks. Do it when you are bored of espresso.
Boss Coffee. Relocated to Sonora Vista with Peet’s. Treat it as A if the timer matches cafe, B if it is just an RP counter in your build. Check the live Jobs tab.
Police / Fire / EMS with Public Services pass (169 Robux). B for money, S for structured RP. Lights and traffic stops use the same controls. Do not buy the pass to “get rich.”
C-tier
Unemployed highway touring. Looks like Drive-to-Earn, misses job ticks. C because you are playing the game wrong on purpose.
House sitting. Houses do not pay. C forever.
Scripted auto-farm while you sleep. Documented on money scripts. C for account health even if a loadstring promises 300k per 10 minutes. Read safety.
Session template
- Redeem codes.
- Select Peet’s, Ray’s, or Tylo’s.
- Drive there in an S-tier cheap car.
- Complete the serve prompt.
- Highway loop at legal-plus speed.
- Repeat until you can afford the next car trim you actually need.
If a patch relocates cafes, this list’s pins change and the ranks probably do not. Recheck patch notes then come back to S-tier coffee.
One more ranking rule: do not dual-queue two food jobs hoping for double ticks. Shop usually holds one selected role. Switching every minute to “optimize” is how you miss both timers. Pick Peet’s or Ray’s or Tylo’s, commute, and let Drive-to-Earn fill the gaps. That is how the beginner guide stays under an hour instead of turning into a menu simulator.

Cafe and food shifts: Peet's in Sonora Vista, Ray's Cafe, and Tylo's. Keep one selected at all times.
Is Drive-to-Earn better than a cafe job?
Do both. Drive-to-Earn is A-tier commute pay. Cafe ticks are S-tier repeatable salary. Unemployed driving is a downgrade.
Is police work good money?
No. It is B-tier cash and requires the Public Services pass. Take it for RP after the cafe loop is funded.
