Mojave Valley Jobs Guide

Jobs are the reliable salary in Mojave Valley. Codes spike. Drive-to-Earn drips while you move. A selected job ticks even when you are thinking about houses or a new trim. This page is how to clock in.

Open Shop → Jobs, pick a role, then travel to the workplace. Selecting a job in the menu without showing up is how people decide “jobs are broken.” They are not. You registered remotely and never walked through the door.

Cafe Job (headline work)

The official New Town + Cafe Job update (May 2026, often tagged on the Roblox title) added an interactive cafe loop: serve items to customers at Peet’s Coffee & Tea. Peet’s and Boss Coffee were relocated into Sonora Vista, the big map expansion also called out in that patch. If you last played before that drop, your old cafe pin is wrong — update it with the map guide.

Cafe work is S-tier on the job tier list because it is promoted, easy to repeat, and sits next to shops so you can stack RP with pay. Wear the role, stand in the service area, complete the prompt, wait for the tick.

Working the new Mojave Valley cafe job

Ray’s Cafe and Tylo’s

Community money videos call Ray’s Cafe and Tylo’s the highest listed food jobs, with ticks around $750 every five minutes. Those names still matter after New Town. Check Shop → Jobs in your current build; Pre-Alpha menus gain and lose employers. If both still appear, take one and park nearby so you can Drive-to-Earn between ticks using the money guide.

Always keep a job selected. The wiki rule is simple: unemployed players miss timer payouts while they cruise. Even a “worse” food job beats none.

Other Jobs menu roles

The Jobs tab also lists extra cafe, food, and service employers as the map grows. Noir Beauty Salon & Spa arrived with Sonora Vista as a luxury RP workplace. Treat salon and spa work as A-tier RP income: fine if you like the scene, slower than Peet’s if you are saving for a car on the tier list.

Civilian loops people RP on the side — rideshare, deliveries, DMV clerk — are mostly social. They might not have the same hard timer as cafe. Do them for fun after the bills are paid.

Police / Public Services

Emergency vehicles and LEO tools sit behind the Public Services game pass (commonly listed at 169 Robux). That is roleplay equipment, not a starter salary. The job tier list parks LEO in B for cash. If your goal is a house this week, cafe first. If your goal is a structured RP session with the community, buy the pass after you can already drive.

Police RP still uses the same controls. Starting a cruiser is still S+F or LT + D-pad down. Lights and signals matter more when you are the person writing tickets.

How to work a cafe shift without wasting fuel

1. Redeem codes so you can afford a car if you do not have one.
2. Register the job in Shop.
3. Drive to Sonora Vista or your Ray’s / Tylo’s pin using the map.
4. Complete the interactive serve prompt.
5. When the tick lands, do a short highway loop at limit +5–10 mph.
6. Return before the next timer.

That commute is the whole game. A limited SLS AMG does not make the tick larger. A Yaris or Tucson makes the commute cheaper.

Roblox Plus+ on jobs

Official perks include +10% increased job earnings and +10% Drive-to-Earn. Plus+ cafe ticks are why two players can stand in the same Peet’s and see different numbers. Compare yourself to the same account type, or you will “optimize” a route that was just a multiplier.

Weekly $4,999 cash is a login bonus, not a job. Take it, then still clock in.

When jobs move

Pre-Alpha patches relocate workplaces. The May expansion moved two coffee shops into Sonora Vista. Later titles advertised spring maps and new RP locations. If your GPS memory fails, open patch notes and re-pin. Do not farm an empty lot because a YouTube video from March still ranks.
