Mojave Valley Car Tier List
Daily drivers first, limited McLarens last — ranked for Pre-Alpha grinding.
This is the car half of the tier list hub. Ranks are grind value: fuel, ease of driving, and whether the chassis gets you to jobs without drama. Flex is noted, not rewarded.
Dealerships sell dozens of trims per chassis after 2026 drops. A “Mercedes” is not one car. Cycle trims in person. Use controls in the lot so you do not stall during a test pull.
S-tier — buy these to play the game
Hyundai Tucson. Community showcases call it a quiet monster: ordinary looks, strong highway manners, good grind car. If you want one crossover, this is it.
Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Fuel efficiency is the hidden stat. Drive-to-Earn from the money guide dies when you refuel every five minutes. Hybrids stretch highway loops.
Mazda 3. Feature-dense for the price in player tours (hood / engine presentation on some trims). Still a sedan you can live in.
Toyota Yaris and other cheap hatches. The July lot added a Yaris next to supercars on purpose. That is your first purchase after codes if the Tucson is still too spendy.
Boring family sedans / wagons. If it holds 60 mph, has four wheels, and does not have “limited” in the name, it is S for a new account.
A-tier — upgrades after the first car
JDM imports. The JDM drop was a whole update theme. Fun, quicker, still usable as a daily if you can afford fuel. Not a first car unless codes printed a fortune.
Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG and related CLA trims. June review footage listed CLA 45 AMG around 155 mph and 375 hp. That is highway flex with usable manners. Buy when the cafe loop is already paying.
Nissan 400Z Nismo, Mercedes 350 / 450, Cadillac, Suburban family (LS, LT, RST, etc.). July’s nine-car drop. Suburbans are A for group RP and stable grinding. The 400Z is A for drivers who already know manual mode.
Volvo-class highway sedans. Official media shows a blue sedan eating sun flare on a motorway — that is the A-tier “I commute for money” aesthetic.
B-tier — flex, RP, or specialist
SLS AMG, McLaren P1, other limiteds. Thumbnail kings. Economy villains. Million-class price tags (community talk) mean one crash or one fuel misread wipes a session. Own them after a house and a daily driver exist.
BMW M3 Competition (limited). Sold out in player comments when it was a timed lot car. If it returns, treat it as B unless you already grind in an S-tier car.
Police / emergency vehicles. Gated by Public Services (169 Robux). B for cash, A for LEO RP. See players and the job list.
EV crossovers (including the “Cursornix” style lot car in official shots). Fine if you like the silent RP. Confirm charging / fuel rules in your patch; do not assume free energy.
C-tier — wait
Anything you cannot start confidently. Anything that sits in a house carport while you still walk to Peet’s. Anything you bought because a video said “SECRET NEW CAR” and the patch notes actually just added another trim to a chassis you already own.
Buy flow
- Redeem codes.
- Take a cafe job.
- Walk the lot, cycle trims, purchase.
- Start with S+F (or LT + D-pad down).
- Fuel, then highway at limit +5–10 mph.
- Only then shop JDM / AMG / limited.
Hoods, Defender-style rear doors, and interior replicas are nice. They do not tick cash. The guides hub will still send you back to money if you ignore that.
Re-rank after every car-heavy patch. June’s 60+ trims and July’s nine chassis changed the lot more than any “secret code.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Mojave Valley on Roblox.
What is the best starter car in Mojave Valley?
A cheap efficient hatch or sedan — Yaris, Mazda 3, Tucson, or a basic family trim. Not a limited McLaren or SLS AMG.
Is the McLaren P1 worth it?
As a flex car after you already own a daily driver, sure. As a first buy, no. Fuel and crash cost will erase code cash.
Are JDM cars good for grinding?
A-tier. They are quicker and fun, but buy them after an S-tier commuter exists.
Do I need a game pass for normal cars?
No. Police vehicles need the Public Services pass. Civilian dealership cars take in-game cash.
